The Ramblings

The Ramblings formed in March 2007 with the idea of creating an energetic, fresh new approach to British rock. Their fervour for live music has seen their stage show develop into a memorable festival of catchy sounds and audience interaction. With a passion for perfection and enthusiasm to entertain, The Ramblings have established themselves as one the South’s most hardworking and captivating young bands.
2008 has seen the ramblings playing the mainstage on Saturday at the Access Festival, supporting Drew from Babyshambles new band Helsinki, with a little help from Kyle from the View and also playing the Southsea Bandstand Festival. During the summer the ramblings spent their time headlining the Hope and Anchor in Islington, Supporting at the Joiners in Southampton, headlining the Fat Fox, supporting Mobile Act unsigned winners Envy and other Sins at the Orange Rooms and recording four new songs including Broken at the Bridge and Charlie Brown.
They ended the summer by playing a late night slot on the main stage at the Longest Day festival in Brighton, headlining at The Railway in Winchester, headlining the Macbeth in Hoxton, playing the Hobbit in Southampton, as well as being main support for the Cavendish Arms music festival in Stockwell. As well as playing the Southsea festival and Talking Heads.
They finished the year by supporting Imperial Leisure at Lennons indie club night as well as supporting the Holloways on their sell-out Joiners show and then supporting them again at the Wedgewood Rooms, and playing the mINtSOUTH xmas party.
