To launch the new collection, in stores Monday 17th August, Born by Ted Baker are setting the ultimate music challenge – a Gig Race that embodies the Born by Ted Baker belief that we should all ‘seize the everyday’.

Contestants from around the country will have two weeks to attend as many gigs as they can in the hope of winning the coveted prize of £1,000 of Born by Ted Baker clothing and 2 x tickets to the sold out Bestival festival. The Born by Ted Baker gig race kicks off with the Laurel Collective playing a lunchtime gig at Puregroove records, London on Wednesday 26th August (at 1.15pm). Hailing from Wales , England, Italy and Nigeria, The Laurel Collective have already gained support from the likes of Steve Lamacq and Jon Kennedy. These sonic upstarts will hail in the race with a throbbing performance of organic electronics, skewed psych-pop, soulful rhythms and surging choruses.
