Mercury Prize nominated Metronomy are playing the Talking Heads on September 20th, and tickets are selling fast.  Tickets can be bought here.

Metronomy were earlier this week nominated for a Mercury Prize for their recent album, “The English Riviera”.

Released in April of this year, their third studio album ‘The English Riviera’ has been warmly received by the music press, while the change of pace has pleased old fans as well as gaining a fair few ones. Originally from Devon, frontman Joe Mount has taken in the charm of the Southwest, creating a romanticism which makes the area seem more like California than Torbay.

Armed with electro pop anthems aplenty from their previous album ‘Nights Out’, Metronomy will show how much they’ve evolved when they return to Southampton this Autumn. If you missed out on their last visit to the city back in January at The Joiners, then this is the perfect chance to watch them conquer another Southampton venue on Tuesday 20th September when they play The Talking Heads.
