Southampton’s finest set to compete for a place at Blissfields Festival this evening

This evening (Friday 18th May), at The Joiners, four of Southampton’s finest acts will compete for a place at this years Blissfields Festival.

For the first time, The Road To Blissfields will take place at the legendary venue with The Novatones, Anja McCloskey, The Blue Screen of Death and England Road all vying for a place at Winchester’s June bash.

Festival favourites, Subgiant, will be making a headline appearance as special guests.

All of the bands were selected by Blissfields organisers from over 100 entrants.  Doors open at 7.30pm and tickets are priced £6 in advance.

Tonight’s winners will be awarded a place to play the festival which is being headlined by The Noisettes, Patrick Wolf and also features upcoming acts including Spector, Seán McGowan, Oresteia, Bryony Marie Fry, Stone Them Crows, Man Like Me, Pronghorn, Dreadzone, King Charles, Guillemots and Bastille.

Blissfields takes place from June 28th -July 1st at Woodmancott near Winchester.
