Welsh rock band Kids In Glass Houses have been confirmed as headliners for Butserfest 2012 which will take place on Saturday 15 September at Queen Elizabeth Country Park in Hampshire.
The council funded, youth festival returns for its sixth year with Lower Than Atlantis, Yashin, Futures, Canterbury and Don Broco also confirmed to play.
‘Kids In Glass Houses have been high on Butserfest fans’ lists as a favourite to headline the festival for a few years.’ said Lucy Soal, Butserfest band co-ordinator. ‘We’re really happy to have them as our headline act.’Opening on the main stage will be England Road, Midday Committee and Spartan, chosen from the regional and area finals of Live & Unsigned.
Previous year’s line ups have included The Blackout, The King Blues, Lower Than Atlantis, Young guns, Deaf Havana, Bury Tomorrow and We Are The Ocean.
