A new weekly local showcase with an added twist is launching this Monday (24th September) at the Railway in Winchester
Transmission is being supported not only by ourselves here at MintSouth, but is being run in association with our close friends at Blissfields Festival.
For the local music fan, its an opportunity to come along to a fresh new night and check out the emerging talent that the local area has to offer, with not only several acts each night, but is followed by local DJs too - and who knows, maybe you could catch them before they grace the stages of the local festivals.
But for the musicians who play, not only is it a chance for a live gig, but gives the opportunity to take away a professionally mixed live recording, have a youtube video sound mixed and perform infront of the local areas top promoters, recording studio professionals, band managers, sound engineers, festival curators, photographers, press & media. Which will also include us, who will be covering as many of the nights as we can and putting a piece on the site.
So, if you fancy a new weekly night out to check out what the surrounding area has to offer, get yourself down to the Railway – from this Monday, 7:30 to midnight then weekly thereafter.
The first acts to play are Simon Kent, Flashfires and Jack Williams
For more details on the night, or information on how to apply to play, see the below flyer:
