Recently described by the NME as the “best new band in Britain” (yes, I know they say it every week), Peace will be coming to Southampton Joiners on 6th December 2012.
Forming in autumn 2011, Peace made an instant impact with their début single ‘Follow Baby’ gaining early support throughout Radio 1, as well as receiving great praise from critics across the board. Landing somewhere between Acid House and Aztec Camera, their whirlpool of syrupy melodies, muscular rhythms and miasmic guitars is tied together by a desire to bend their instruments’ capacity according to The Fly. The band have already supported the likes of Manic Street Preachers, The Vaccines and Mystery Jets across the UK and Europe and with Zane Lowe declaring their recent single ‘Bloodshake’ the hottest record in the world, things are set to get a lot bigger for the Birmingham born band.
