Treat the kids to a free day out at The Berry Theatre

Now a regular fixture each season at The Berry Theatre, the venue opens its doors to all with a free fun packed day of theatre workshops, backstage tours, storytelling sessions and films.

Hedge End Festival will give people of all ages the opportunity to try their hand at everything from willow weaving and technical theatre to drumming and special effects stage-make up.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days
Running alongside the creative workshops will be the chance to get a rare glimpse at what goes on behind the scenes of a theatre, with guided backstage tours. There will also be free movie screenings of Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days and This Happy Breed.

Hedge End Festival takes place at The Berry Theatre in Hedge End on Saturday, November 10 from 10am to 5pm.

Tickets are free to all events, workshops and films on the day. It is essential to book in advance to avoid disappointment on the day. Call the box office on 01489 799 499 or visit www.theberrytheatre.co.uk
