MintSouth

(aka Music in the South)

Originally setup by Jodie Luke Copeland and Brett Summers as a tribute to the late Mint Burston, the legendary Southampton promoter.

MintSouth has now combined with Rob Ball from Winchester based fanzine, The Winchester Massive, and has now grown into an online fanzine championing the music scene in the South, and also put on a few gigs of our own in Southampton.

The MintSouth website covers areas such as Southampton, Winchester, Portsmouth, Poole, Bournmouth, Salisbury, Guildford and The Isle of Wight.  The site promises to bring you features, previews, podcasts and reviews from a variety of experienced writers with backgrounds as diverse as The Mag and The Hampshire Chronicle.
